This is a limited, non-transferable warranty valid from the original date of purchase. It applies solely to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase (an original, itemized, and dated sales receipt).

1. Outdoor Furniture Warranty

Cushions

• Manufacturing Defects: One (1) year limited warranty on manufacturing and structural defects.

• Fabric Fading: Two (2) year limited warranty against abnormal discoloration or fading resulting strictly from defects in raw materials or premature UV degradation.

• What is NOT covered: Fabric rips, tears, or pilling due to normal wear and tear; fading or discoloration resulting from chemical spills, fluids, stains, oil, or water damage; mildew growth (which accumulates on dirt, dust, pollen, and organic matter); normal softening/compression of foams and cushions; shrinkage due to improper cleaning; and Customer’s Own Material (COM) fabrics (subject to Section 5).
   

Resin Wicker & Resin Rope

• Warranty Period: Three (3) year limited warranty against cracking, structural breakage, or abnormal UV discoloration/fading due to raw material defects.

• What is NOT covered: Minor variations in color, texture, or finish; surface imperfections resulting from the manufacturing/casting process; and unravelling or breakage due to normal wear and tear, scratches, or excessive friction. This warranty requires adherence to proper care, maintenance, and seasonal storage procedures.
   

Resinwood

• Warranty Period: Three (3) year limited warranty on resinwood slats against defects in materials and workmanship. Any physical alterations to the wood render this warranty void.

• Sun & Heat Disclaimer: Resinwood is made with polystyrene. While highly resistant to rot, insects, and splitting, severe and concentrated heat can cause damage. Direct contact with clear glassware or silverware left in intense sunlight can act as a magnifying lens and cause melting or burns. Damage, melting, or burns resulting from magnified or concentrated sunlight are not covered.
   

Aluminum Frames

• Warranty Period: Five (5) year limited structural warranty against frame failure during normal use.

• What is NOT covered: Scratches, chips, or finish degradation resulting from normal wear and tear, impact, or exposure to harsh abrasive cleaning solvents.
   

Umbrellas, Canopies, and Bases

• Warranty Period: One (1) year limited warranty on the umbrella frame, finish, base, and canopy fabric against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

• What is NOT covered: Wind damage, structural bending from storms, and surface rust (which is a natural aging process for steel/iron-based components).

• Care Requirement: Umbrellas must be closed, removed from their bases, and stored horizontally during windy conditions and off-season storage. A sufficiently weighted base must always be used.
   

Additional Outdoor Exclusions
This outdoor warranty does not cover:

• Acts of Nature & Weather: Damage from high winds, fire, vandalism, animal incidents, or freezing temperatures (including frame splitting/breakage caused by water accumulation and freeze-expansion inside frame tubing).

• Environment & Maintenance: Finishing failures or hardware corrosion caused by pool or seaside salt/chlorides, unless regular weekly surface cleaning is performed to prevent oxidation.

• Accidents & Misuse: Glass breakage, chipping, or cracking; damage from improper assembly, transport, knife cuts, or over-tightened screws; missing feet/glides or hardware accessories not reported upon delivery; and items sold "As-Is" or as clearance merchandise.
   

2. Indoor Furniture Warranty

Frame

• Warranty Period: Three (3) year limited structural warranty on indoor furniture frames during normal commercial/residential usage.

• What is NOT covered: Scratches and chips resulting from normal wear and tear.
   

Fabric & Upholstery

• Inspection Window: Seven (7) day limited warranty from the date of product receipt covering fabric manufacturing or material defects. Issues must be reported within this timeframe.

• What is NOT covered: Fabric rips, tears, pilling, stretching, or dye transfers from user clothing (e.g., denim jeans). Normal flattening, compression, or softening of foam and padded seats is considered standard wear and tear and is not defective.
   

Additional Indoor Exclusions
This indoor warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by a lack of routine upkeep, improper assembly, or customer mishandling/shipping.

• Structural breakage due to misuse or abuse, including exceeding weight capacities, or standing on chairs for elevation.

• Failure of powder-coated finishes due to heavy abrasion, including scraping or stacking non-stackable items.

• Natural fading caused by direct exposure to outdoor elements or intense UV sunlight passing through windows.
   

3. Stone and Laminate Top Warranty

• Warranty Period: Two (2) year limited warranty against peeling, cracking, or blistering of the surface laminate or stone top structure.

• Usage Restriction: These products are engineered for indoor use only, unless the specific product line or item is explicitly designated, invoiced, or labeled by Marco Polo Furnishings for outdoor or dual indoor/outdoor use. Using an indoor-designated top in an outdoor setting voids this warranty entirely.
   

Exclusions
This stone and laminate warranty does not cover:

• Damage from a lack of routine maintenance, improper assembly, or customer transport.

• Structural cracks or breakage caused by impact, placing excessive weight on the top, leaning heavily on edges, or standing/sitting on the surface.

• Scratches, chips, and finish abrasions caused by sliding heavy or sharp objects across the surface, or stacking tops without proper protective layering.

• Damage from ammonia-based cleaners, harsh chemical solvents, or abrasive pads.

• Minor natural variations in stone grain, texture, casting marks, or minor color irregularities.

• Unauthorized Outdoor Use: Outdoor use on any item not explicitly rated for outdoor or dual indoor/outdoor environments.

• Weathering: For products explicitly approved for outdoor use, this warranty does not cover normal fading of color, weathering, or UV damage caused by prolonged exposure to the elements.
   

4. Casino Chair Warranty

• Structural Frame: Three (3) year limited warranty on the structural integrity and frame of the casino chair during normal commercial gaming operations.

• Mechanical Components: One (1) year limited warranty on all moving and mechanical items, including hydraulics, gas lifts, swivels, return mechanisms, and adjustment levers.

• Vinyl & Upholstery Performance: Rub counts (such as Wyzenbeek or Martindale double rubs) indicated for vinyls and fabrics represent industry testing averages provided by the material manufacturers. These ratings are intended as a comparative guide and do not constitute a warranty or performance guarantee for individual wear patterns, lifespan, or specific field performance.
   

5. Third-Party Fabrics & Graded-In Materials

• Fabric Warranty Limitations: For all third-party fabrics, specified textiles, graded-in materials, or Customer’s Own Material (COM) selected by the buyer—including but not limited to specialty brands such as Challenger by J Ennis—the warranty for the fabric's material integrity, performance, fading, pilling, stretching, or durability is provided strictly and exclusively by the original textile manufacturer. Marco Polo Furnishings does not extend any direct warranty coverage over the fabric material itself.

• Marco Polo Coverage Exception: Marco Polo Furnishings provides a warranty strictly on the upholstery construction, tailoring, stitching, and adherence of the third-party fabric to the furniture frame. This workmanship warranty matches the specific timeframe of the corresponding furniture line's structural warranty against defects in application (e.g., loose seams or improper securing under normal usage).
   

6. Flat Tech Products

• Warranty Coverage: All Flat Tech products sold by Marco Polo Furnishings are covered under the manufacturer's warranty provided directly by Flat Tech.

• Terms and Claims: For specific coverage details, terms, exclusions, and claims procedures regarding Flat Tech components or stabilizing bases, please refer directly to the official Flat Tech policy at https://flattech.com/policies-and-warranty/.
   

7. Universal Exclusions & Clarifications
The following items are never considered manufacturer defects and are completely excluded from coverage across all product lines:

• Chair Misuse & Improper Posture: Structural damage, bending, or breakage caused by leaning back on two legs, tilting, rocking, or non-traditional seating behaviors is strictly classified as structural abuse. These behaviors do notconstitute normal wear and tear and instantly void the warranty.

• Weight Capacities: Unless explicitly rated and specified otherwise in writing on the corporate invoice, all seating options have a strict structural weight limit of 300 lbs. Frame failure, component warping, or mechanical breakdowns resulting from loads exceeding 300 lbs are completely excluded from coverage.

• Surface and Flooring Scratching: This warranty does not cover scratching, scuffing, scraping, marking, or finish damage inflicted by the feet, levelers, glides, caps, or bases of chairs, stools, or tables onto any surface. This exclusion appliesuniversally to interior flooring (hardwood, tile, vinyl, laminate, carpet) and outdoor ground environments (patios, decks, stone, or concrete). Maintaining, monitoring, and replacing protective glides to shield delicate surfaces is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

• Chemical Damage: Staining, bleaching, fading, etching, or any other surface discoloration caused by exposure to caustic substances, acids, bleach, ammonia, or other harsh or industrial chemicals.

• Glass & Mirrors: Small air bubbles, light surface waviness, or minor pitting inherent to glass and mirror materials.

• Display Variations: Minor shade or color variations between the delivered product and physical swatches, samples, printed marketing materials, or digital/website displays.

• Moisture Anomalies: Temporary fabric or finish discoloration when wet that completely returns to normal once dry.

• Transit Freight: Damage caused by third-party transport carriers. In the event of transit damage, claims must be filed directly with the freight carrier.
   

8. General Terms, Remedies, and Limitations

Remedies
If a valid warranty claim is filed within the designated timeframe, Marco Polo Furnishings will, at its sole discretion, repair the item, replace the item, or offer a partial/full refund.

• Replacements will match the original style and color whenever possible. If a style or color has been discontinued, a replacement of equal value will be offered.

• The remedy applies strictly to the damaged or defective item, not the entire set.

• Freight Policy: During the first (1st) year following the original purchase date, Marco Polo Furnishings will cover standard freight costs to ship replacements to sites located within a 100 km radius of a major transportation center. Transportation costs do not include unboxing, installation, or labor costs. After the first year, the purchaser is responsible for all shipping and logistics costs.

• Approved warranty repairs or replacements do not extend or restart the original warranty period.
   

Limitation of Liability & Exclusivity
 
THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
MARCO POLO FURNISHINGS EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, OR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, OR FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LIABILITY OF MARCO POLO FURNISHINGS EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE VALUE OF THE DEFECTIVE ITEM.
